Pearson cut his teeth working in the New York music industry creating album campaigns for David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Aphex Twin & host of musicians you've never heard of. In 1994, Pearson co-founded Blender Magazine which was acquired by Dennis Publishing UK. Blender is the first digital music publication to be honored in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum. Pearson also launched an interactive agency out of Dennis publishing which developed media for clients including; Mercedes-Benz, Disney, Levis, Coca-Cola and Apple. In 2008, Blender and Maxim Magazine was sold to Quadrangle Capital Partners.

Pearson left New York and moved to the Bay Area to start OnlineGiving.com, an innovative fundraising technology to non-profits. OnlineGiving.com  was successfully acquired by Starwire, a Pat Robertson and Sequoia Capital company. Moving to Southern California, Pearson formed an under-the-radar media creation company, serving a unique mixture of clients in the motion picture, nonprofit and technology markets.

Jason has received numerous design awards including the Gold One Club Award and was named one of New York Magazine's "60 Digital Visionaries." The Samsung Corporation selected Jason as a national spokesperson for the Samsung Brain Trust. Pearson lives in a small surf community with his wife Melinda and their 5 children.

Doug Martinez has over 25 years of business and investment experience across multiple operating entities and industries. Doug has been a equity-owner, CEO and Senior Executive while participating in the management and growth of several notable enterprises such as American Standard Plumbing Products, Price Pfister, Black and Decker, RSI Home Products and several other privately held entities.

Doug successfully departed corporate life in 1995 to put his diversified skill sets, experiences and personal capital into a newly structured investment enterprise. Doug founded Temporary Holdings, LLC as a boutique equity investment company that today has enjoyed a remarkable track record of growth and return. Doug remains active and Chairman of Temporary Holdings,LLC.

In 2004, after a brief operating stint in a couple of small ministry focused organizations, Doug founded Cross Section Ventures, Inc. to begin transitioning a portion of his assets and holdings into an intentional ministry based entity that in a short period of time, would bring far more innovation and value than presently being offered to ministries by any one organization. Shortly after it’s formation Doug teamed up with his friend Jason Pearson to broaden the depth and reach of Cross Section’s growing vision. Today Cross Section Ventures (CrossSection.com) owns and operates a strategically assembled conglomerate of companies that serve ministries and non profit clients with innovation and redefined value in price, service and support.

Doug, Graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a BSBA in 1984. He is married to his High School sweetheart and best friend. Along with their three children they reside in a small beach town in Southern California, known as San Clemente. Doug also serves on several for profit and non-profit Boards.
