Invisible Neighbors

Objective:

Help local rescue missions across the county engage and educate their local church communities.

Result:

Crosssection collaborated with the Association of Gospel Rescue Mission to develop and publish a church wide series with original content. The unique 6 session video teaching series utilized by Christian leaders like Tony Campolo, Josh Ashmen, Mike Yankoski and Rebecca St. James to engage small groups. The Invisible Neighbors book (now in it’s 4th printing) gives churches the tools to bring the issue of homelessness and the power of partnering with local missions to their congregations in an unusual format that includes creative media and going deeper resources.

Elements:

Included within the project scope was Brand creation and positioning, Content creation, copy writing, all original film development and output, Graphic Design, Study and Small Group resources creation, Interactive websites, Grass Roots Marketing Strategy and Resources, Social Media, printing, fulfillment and customer service for all materials.

Factoid:

According to a recent survey the homeless people who “come daily to the mission” rose from 81 percent in 2015 to 86 percent in 2016. Additionally, more than one-third (37 percent) of those coming to rescue missions for assistance had never before been homeless.
